Venture capitalists invest in EpiCrystals

Tampere based EpiCrystals inc. has received 6 MEUR of venture finance. Round was accomplished by Finnish Industry Investment Ltd and VNT Management Oy. In exchange both VC companies received  remarkable amount of shares of EpiCrystals that develops advanced light sources.

Director of Finnish Industry Investment Henri Grundström was justifying the investment by EpiCrystal's "revolutionary techniqe, potential for markets and and right persons working for it"

EpiCrystal was founded 2003 by Tomi Jouhti and Janne Konttinen. Company currently has less than 50 employees.
