Merus Power Receives 1M Euro Investment from Inventure

Merus Power, a Finnish energy efficiency company, has announced that it has received 1 million Euro from a Finnish venture capital firm Inventure. The company was founded in late 2008 and in 2010 it had already made deliveries to six countries. With its rapid growth, the company’s Managing Director Kari Tuomala welcomes the investment: “The company is seeking international expansion and has already established a good pace for it. With our sizeable R&D focus and cross-border ambitions we needed a significant capital injection to sustain the trajectory. The investment from Inventure allows us to aim for our high goals.”

Merus Power technology is focused on improving energy efficiency in power grids by eliminating disruptions in the distribution network. The technology is targeted towards energy intensive industries, demanding real estate and renewable energy solutions.
